Analyzer or probe version for continuous water on line monitoring.

The Uv-visible method allows to analyse COD, TOC, BOD by correlation with laboratory methods. This range uses an optical measurement without reagent. By the way, the maintenance is very low. COD, TOC and BOD can be estimated in several seconds.

Description of the UV probe:

Uv-Visible absorbance measurement for SAC analysis and possible correlation with Chemical oxygen demand (COD) and Suspended Solids (SS).

Probe :
�� Fully submersible stainless steel sensor.
�� New UV Led measurement technology.
�� When a measurement value exceeds a preset threshold, a
command is automatically activated toward :
• an alarm system
• a remote supervisor
�� COD/SS analyzer is fully automatic and can run alone on site without any intervention for several weeks.
�� Possible connexion to autonomous station (15W)
Applications :
�� Industrial water (waste water and process)
�� Surface and ground water
�� Alarm station
�� Drinking water treatment plant

The sensor uses the “two wavelength” measurement principle.
One channel detects suspended solids while the other detects COD and suspended solids.
The COD is determined as the difference between the two channels measurements. For light intensity and temperature variations, the on‐line analyser uses a reference sensor for each
channel.
